Meghan with her bff, Kristen.I am so excited that one week from today, on Mother's Day (& John's graduation) I will be spending it with my daughter! I haven't seen her since Christmas, so we are long overdue! I'm most looking forward to taking a walk with her and sitting at the kitchen counter drinking a cup of coffee with no sirens, no bad signals, no hurried talk before she gets to the subway and not on her way in to the office. Just the two of us... :)

My heart is welling up listening to this song... I think of my mom, my sister and her girls. I know I will never have children... but oh how I want to be the person my nieces see through their eyes!
