Warning: Very Cheezy Entry

Meghan was home and we did it all...We went to check out her brother's new house in East Lansing and it was very cool! We took him to dinner... Meghan got a little sad that she is no longer a student at MSU!

Check out the shoes! I was thinking... "You are kidding, right?"

We pampered ourselves... Can you believe I posted this one?
She had to get her hair done... the highlights were getting too expensive to keep up!
We had the best weekend! My husband was out of town so we spent the weekend "bonding"! We talked... and talked... and had coffee together, we cleaned her teeth, took a walk, watched a movie... had lunch at one of her favorite spots for... hummus and tabouli, then shopped in Birmingham! She had dinner with her college friends! On Saturday she went up to Harbor Springs to visit her dad.

We had SO much fun together and I already miss her! I didn't cry this time because I am going to visit her in October! I am doing SO much better!

That was not cheesy! That was BEAUTIFUL!!! I really can't imagine our children leaving the house and not living with me anymore....but the rewards of being with them as an adult are just incredible.

I'm SO glad your time with her was awesome!! And you know I'll take some great notes, pictures, and of course the awesome praise and worship from Deeper Still!!

Glad you are back to blogland. You were missed!

Meghan looks beautiful as ever...and your weekend sounds great!

Isnt it funny how once they move away, even doing just the usual, seems like such a blessing. Loren was home after only being gone a few weeks and I was thrilled when I saw him stroll into church.

One of these days I want to take the NY trip with you!!!

The pictures were great! Thanks for sharing!

What beautiful children! It looks like you and your daughter made some sweet memories together. It really gets to be all about the 'together' part when they live away, doesn't it? No matter what you do..it somehow seems better. I am so glad all went well for you.
Love the pedis. And I think you and I have the same purse. Is that a LV?

Angie,
I loved seeing your pictures of your family. Your daughter is beautiful. It sounds like a perfect weekend. I had to order the siesta shirts. I waited until I couldn't wait any longer to order them but I will put you down for the siesta fiesta shirt! I will post a picture of the shirt as soon as I get it completed. I think you will love it. I enjoyed visiting your blog!!
I promise I will take many notes and post them on my blog. Have a blessed week.
Love,
Patty

Looks like your weekend was a dream! I am so happy for you! We are going to NYC in 2 weeks. We are finding it hard to find a place to stay...let me rephrase, finding it hard to find a place to stay that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Yikes! But God will provide! Anyway, you look so happy with your girl! By the way, I love B-ham! Such a great place to shop, especially during sidewalk sales!

Great photos. It sounds like y'all had a great time. I miss living nearby my own mom so we can do fun things like that.

Your daughter is beautiful and I'm so glad you had this time to visit together! I'm glad you posted the "toes" picture, I love having a pedicure, although I don't very often!

What is the best job I've ever had?
