Today is Thankful Thursday and I am thankful for my parents! They taught me what the words family and commitment mean. As I look back at their relationship somehow it just plain worked! That's the only way to explain it! They took us to church on Sundays and planted a seed in me that I will forever be grateful for! They were married as kids and stayed together for 51 years before my father went home to be with Jesus! Whenever I hear this song, I think of my mom and a gift I gave her years ago...and I can't help but remember my father in Heaven!
I love my parents and miss my Daddio!
Thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings!
Love,
Annie xoxo

that is too sweet. i love that song- sweet! You can tell how much they love each other. I am sure your daddy is smiling down on you and so proud of all you do. love ya!
Wow...what a beautifully written tribute! I love the photos too. You can see (and almost feel) their love for each other. The song is one of my favorites too.
Hugs!

Oh the 1st picture of your momma tucked under his head resting on his chest!!!! BEAUTIFUL! Ya know, not every couple does that the older they get. I do not see much affection between my parents and that is sad to me. They love each other, but they don't do that!
Anyway....your daddy looked like a fine man. You can just tell. Hug your families today.
love ya!
What a loving remembrance of your parents. They look like happy, happy people. How blessed you have been to have such a legacy. Love the song, too.
Have a fun week-end

I pray that after 51 years, my sweetie and I are still smiling, cuddling, holding hands and enjoying life together. Sweet post.
What a lovely tribute...and what great examples your parents must have set for you. 51 years together. Wow. That's a lot of love, tolerance and understanding! lol
What a lovely picture and such a tender moment caught on film! You can just feel the love!
Wind Beneath My Wings was the song I danced to w/ my dad at my wedding reception. We dedicated it to our parents!
How very beautiful...I'm glad you have a testimony of His care in your family line like your parents' care for you! Enjoy your weekend, Ang. I'm feel a little better, thanks for your prayers!
Love,
Holly
