THE prayer

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night worrying about anything and everything? Last night was one of those nights when there wasn't anything in particular wrong that should wake me up. This prayer put me right back to sleep. Without a doubt, it's what I am Thankful for this Thursday!

Love,
Angie

What a great way to go back to sleep. I also go thru the alphabet and praise Him for His attributes. That will work wonders too. Thanks for the video. God's Word is a balm to our soul and so is He...Blessings

Isn't this just the sweetest! I searched after our pastor used this video one recent Sunday. Just gotta smile. It is the prayer that covers all and focuses on God too! Blessings to you--and sleep well.

How sweet! I figure if I wake up at night for no good reason, it is because the Lord wants me to pray for someone. So, I start with those who I think need it most. I'll confess though, sometimes I will fall back asleep while I'm praying. Shame on me! :)

Girl, the Lord wakes me up and I usually have to pray for an hour. I will remember this.

Someone once told me the Lord often works on our hearts at 3-4 a.m. She said it is the stillest hour of the night. I don't know if that is the case, but it seems I have a lot of 3 a.m. chats with God and they are usually sweet, unveiling emotions and unfinished business with Him. The Lord's Prayer was the first thing I learned as a baby. Some of the first words out of our mouths, as my parents prayed with us each evening. It is a special prayer to me, too. Hope you sleep well tonight. Love you, Annette

How could I have missed your dear picture?!(God's gift) It's very nice. I often wake up in the night, worrying. He always said years ago that he never worried - I did enough for the two of us!

So true Angie. Whenver I wake up I figure I should be praying and then wake up in the morning feeling guilty because I fell asleep while praying!
