Psalm 56:3
When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
I am so grateful for this blog and for all of you precious women who pray with me!
God is so much bigger than any of my concerns. He is my Only Hope. He will take care of my son.
Thank you for loving me... Just as I am.
When I am afraid I must trust God.
Love,
Angie xoxo
***SUNDAY UPDATE: I just got off the phone with my son. He made it back to Cambridge University safe and sound. Praise God for putting just the right people in his path. The language barrier was quite a challenge. He said it was beautiful and met some very nice people. Our Lord proved it again, friends. He can be trusted! Whew... I think I need a nap!!

Praying for you and your son today Ang. I know that God has him tenderly in his care while he pours out his peace and love over you today.
Big hugs,
Fran
Thanks for the update. I love England, never been to Spain. Have a blessed Sabbath.

A mother worries. And these mothers pray. Glad he is doing okay but I will still lift him up. Enjoy your nap!
So glad to hear that he made it back safely. Praying God shows him many wonderful things while he's gone and continues to keep him safe.
I will think of you this week when I pray for my son and husband who are also out of the country on a mission trip to Bolivia. And while I miss them, I know that there is some God-shaping going on in their behalf for the future.
Thank you, Father, for keeping our children in your care...especially in seasons where our arms can't stretch across seas, equators, oceans, and continents. Bless Angie with a perfect sense of your peace during this time, and watch over her son with the tender care of heaven. Amen.

Girl, isn't that the truth! He can be trusted. He IS. I think that the Lord is showing me several issues that I have with fear. I am in the conviction stage. I know that He will help me release the hardest things to me my 3 babies. I hold them so tight.
What a beautiful song to lift to the Lord with our heavy hearts and burdens. No burden is too small for HIM to carry for us. Indeed, that is what He wants to do. He has such broader shoulders to carry our burdens. They won't tear Him down like they do us.
I'm so glad your son made it okay.
PS I continue to pray for the married couple you mentioned a while back....everyone was talking about them as though they were doomed. They are on my list of marriages for which to pray.
Please email me if there is any update on them.
Love ya,
Paula
So glad he is safe - Thank You GOD!!!
So glad he made it back. I know what you mean trusting in midst of being so far away. My daughter in Thailand ended up twice in the hospital for serious chest pain this week and my daughter in DC had a kayaking incident yesterday and ended up in the hospital too and is in a sling waiting for an MRI---maybe rotator cuff? I missed knowing to pray for your son---but hey---I can still pray for him over there!!! See you tomorrow---just posted cover to cover.
Hi Ang..
When my son was stationed overseas in Kosovo, and in Saudi Arabia, Germany, I was lead by the holy spirit to read Psalm 91 and had a personal prayer done with this scripture with his name added in this chapter. When he finally came home he asked me to give him that prayer as a keepsake of how his Mama kept him before the Lord each day. I'm glad to hear everything worked out and he returned safe, As a mom we can all relate to this post. Hugz Lorie
