Baylis Animal Hospital

Dear Friends,

Tomorrow is the first day Baylis Animal Hospital will be open! My husband, Lincoln has been working hard for months in preparation for this day! Please, if anyone has any Scripture verses that might help ease the stress we would appreciate it! This is huge! I am going to find a verse that applies.

I know all the Glory goes to God for ALL of this. God gave Lincoln the ability to learn to care for the animals in a special way. During these past couple of months I've heard people say so many nice things about him.

Today at church, Lincoln asked our pastor to pray over him. Steve Andrews prayed and quoted C.S. Lewis... "You can never love an animal too much, only love people too little". Such great words!

I thought you might like seeing the pictures. This is the first time I tried to add a slideshow, so please bear with me.

Thank you, dear prayer warriors for all of your love and support!
Angie (& Lincoln)
xoxo

p.s. Our God is Great!

Congratulations! I can't quote scripture and verse but as God often told His great leaders Do not be afraid! The facility is beautiful and I'm thinking many animals will benefit from your husband's skills and love! Speaking as the "parent" of two toy poodles and two giant cats, it takes a special person to love them like I do. I pray God's great blessing on you both as you venture out in this business!

What a wonderful thing to finally be finished - I don't have a verse but know all God's creatures will be in good hands.

Angie, it looks awesome and tomorrow's the day. I know it can be overwhelming so I went looking and prayed for God to give me a verse and here it is: Mat 10:29-30 "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered." Many blessings, Angie and Lincoln in your new office home. And sweet to see Meghans support and love for you two. I'll be praying for you this week. Love, annie I LOVE CS Lewis's quote--very true.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness. Then all these things shall be added unto you." Matt.6:33

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

It's been some time since I have visited your blog... let alone blog for myself. ;) It's no coincidence that I visited today.

I pray today wasn't too stressful and praise God for wonderful folks like you and Lincoln who love animals!

I am thinking of the hymn...

All Creatures of our God and King and these verses:

Let all things their Creator bless,
And worship Him in humbleness,
O praise Him! Alleluia!
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,
And praise the Spirit, Three in One!
O praise Him, O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Bless your work, today and always!
Kristen

Angie, thanks for another great comment today. I just posted on my blog that you know, when you see through the eyes of someone else, something else just jumps out and when you said in Gen. 50 how Joseph reassured them, that so falls on my soul tonight with such gravity so I had to say that. Whenever you share, it's so fresh, so real, so exciting. Have an awesome early birthday trip to Houston---how good God is to provide that for you. Enjoy Beth and every minute of Annette! And enjoy what God has brought together for tomorrow. II Thes. 1:11 is what I ask for you and Lincoln: May your God fulfill every good purpose you both have in meeting many many needs in your community.

What a beautiful place to work. If I lived there, I'd bring my pets there. I have two dogs and two cats. We used to have two ferrets, but we gave them away. It was turning too much into a zoo. We now have bird feeders in the front and back yards. We like to sit, watch and enjoy HIS creation.

Revelation 4:11 comes to my mind:
“ You are worthy, O Lord,[a]
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist[b] and were created.”

I hope it went well today!!

Love & blessings--

Oh, I forgot the verse:

Let us not become weary in well doing, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we don't give up!
Gal 6:9
