As a dental hygienist I am very mindful of making sure my patients stay on schedule for their 6 month recall appointments. It's just necessary for good dental health. Some need to come in more often but that's a whole other post. As I looked at my schedule the other day I couldn't help but remember... 6 months from this weekend is the Siesta Fiesta! It is going to be in San Antonio, Texas on August 22nd and 23rd. Check it out! I tried to link to it, but it didn't work. Look up Beth Moore events and you'll find it. If any of you are new to the blogging world you won't want to miss this amazing time we have planned. Beth had the great idea and mentioned it on her post on the LPM blog last Jun 13th. We'll get to meet each other face to face! I am so looking forward to meeting you! Have you all signed up? I need a theme song, but cannot think of any. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them.
For now, don't forget to make sure you have your dental appointments made. It'll make life a lot easier for you... and your dental hygienist! :) Also, keep flossing!
In His Love,
Angie xoxo
Thank you, Annie for your contribution to this post. Absolutely PERFECT!

I always hate to make an August dental appointment because you all are so booked with school appointments. I have slowly gotten mine shifted to March and Sept. It works for me. I am faithful though, and can't wait to get my teeth clean next week. They are nice and white now, thank you very much.
CANNOT WAIT for San Antonio, Angie, mostly to see you again, but to meet others too--just a little taste of what heaven will be like!
Now as for a theme song, how about my vacation theme song, "Guantanamera" sung by Joan Baez? Here's a link, and you can decide for yourself...BECAUSE we definitely need a theme song.
By the way it makes Abby sing…
Can't seem to put the imeem object here, but go check it out and see if it works for you...love you, Annette
What a day, glorious day that will be...sorry if you don't like this kind of music, but I can't wait--so I offer another song of praise and count the days until Siestaville. Soon, face to face...

I'm celebrating already.
Love, Annette
I'd love to go but it's not possible this year!
Oh, I should have listened to the song first - I have goosebumps.
I can not even believe only 6 more months!!! =) And I hate going to the dentist no offense. It freaks me out.
Angie:
I wish I could attend the event. I've been a LPM blogger since the beginning and would love to meet my siestas in August. Alas, not to be.
On another note, we are a family committed to dental hygiene, and I am currently bleaching my teeth. I'm hating the entire process, but the money has been paid, and I am committed to seeing it through. Any advice on the matter?

Teeth? That reminds me of a story from when I met my husbadn. he is a big man and his teeth are big and white.
We lived near Mexico and we used to go across to shop. The little Mexican boys would sell chikletts (gum) at the border. The it dawned on me...my husbands teeth look just like chickletts! That became one of his many nicknames.
Love you-let's do coffee SOON!!!!
Ang,
I would be happy to give you the recipe for squash soup. It's the squash you choose that makes all the difference!
Hope to see you soon.
Lisa
Cant wait!! Only six months!!
I have my hygiene appt. on Wednesday...dreading it, but I always go! I always think of you as I sit there and try to answer all the questions with not only the hygenist hands but all her equipement in my mouth. Always a good time :)
Thanks for your sweet comment...I agree Chris should have his own blog, I'll keep working on it.
Be there with bells on!!!
I CANNOT wait to hug each persons neck......and, hopefully not say something completely stupid!!
Hugs my friend~
