Being confident at 9 or 90

This weekend God is taking me completely out of my comfort zone and has asked me to be on the prayer team during Beth Moore's (taped) simulcast on her book, So Long, Insecurity at our church. If you knew how I stumble when praying aloud you would understand God's humor. If you happen to stop by this blog, I would appreciate your prayers that God puts His words in my mouth when I am praying with these women who accept Jesus as their personal Savior or who are in need of any kind of prayer. This event takes place Friday night and Saturday morning at Kensington Community Church in Troy, Michigan.

If I've learned anything in my life, I know for sure that no matter if a woman is 9 or 90 years-old, we all tend to be insecure at times. I'm praying we always remember to find our security in Him alone.

Thank you very much!
In His Love,
Angie xoxo

OH ANGIE...
That is just wonderful and amazing...I know that it will be a life changing time to be used in this way by God...I will be praying that God will direct each specific person to you as you open your mouth and pray over them...they will be blessed...so will you and the heart of God will be pleased and delighted.

Hugs,

Helen

Remember God qualifies the called, not calls the qualified. You are so precious!!!

You'll also be tickled to see many of the Siesta's on the screen. ;-)

Lovingly,
Yolanda

I will be praying for you and the people at the conference this weekend at Kensington. Whether 9 or 90 is right--we all have our insecurities. The world tells us we are not enough. But Christ takes what we offer in His service and uses it so magnificently. He alone makes us completely adequate, qualified, significant. I can't wait to hear what His sheer wonder will accomplish this weekend through you. Do it, Lord! :) Love, Annette

I just said a prayer for you, sweet friend! When you open your mouth to speak I know He will fill it with His words. You are loved here in Houston! Go get yourself a Word. It's awesome!

What is the best job I've ever had?
