Life is flying by way too fast. I can't believe it's March. Two more weeks until daylight savings time and I can't wait.
I had the BEST afternoon. I love our small town of Clarkston. I just stopped in The Clarkston Bake Shop to pick up a cappuccino. It seems like yesterday when the kids and I would go there to have the world's best sugar cookies and milk. Such precious memories.
My job has been quite stressful these days, so I appreciate my time off more than ever. My heart beats a little easier when I have days like today. I'm grateful to God that I don't have to work every day.
As time goes on I realize more and more how Blessed I am.
Angie xoxo

Here is my first week of random photos. I wonder if I can find Bible verses to go along with each day? 1). Took pics of my Christmas Cards...

The best job I’ve ever had? Well, my first job was at Kandahar Ski Club where I got to mop the floors while everyone else was having fun ...

Reads like it was a beautiful sun shinny but chilly day just right to stop by the Clarkston Bake Shop and pick up your cappicino.
Yes time flies (more like zooms) by when you are having fun. The beauty of living in a place long enough to enjoy those memories is a blessings.
It was just 11 years ago Saturday 2/28/1999 that our family celebrated the wedding of our first born daughter. Who 3 and half years later gave us our first grandson. Then not quite two years later provided our only grandaughter. I look at their photos with wonder as today they are 5 years old and 7 years old. No longer little babies and even more fun as I get to be part of their growing up however living four hours away is not frequent enough.
The best is my youngest daughter and son in law this weekend will celebrate 7 years marriage and just last month our adopted grandson turned two years old. We were all there at the hospital and Valerie in the delivery room when he was born and four days later my daughter and son in law were able to take him home. In August 2008 he was legally adopted and such a super joy of our lives in the Houston area.
I'm thrilled you felt the joy of God in your heart as you took rest from the stresses of the day and thought about your precious angels yonger years with God's grace and mercy in your life.
Another song I must sing,
Sylvia
I didn't see this post until today but yesterday I was thinking this very thing. Time does fly by! I actually think it flies by faster as the older I get. Anyway, I was thinking my first grandson will be 15 Sat!! Where did the time go?? It's been one heck of a ride as the saying goes and I've been truly blessed through everything I've gone through. Thanks for the Chicago song...brought back memories!
Love you
Linda
I haven't been checking blogs for a few days... but just wanted to reiterate how important it is that we do good things for ourselves... life is tough and stressful, and that cappuccino and the memories it brought back, must have been good for you, my friend. xoxoxo
