Memory verse #5

I chose this verse to meditate on and memorize for the next two weeks because I wanted to remember to be grateful during the bad seasons as well as the good ones. I remember going for a walk when I was going through one of my toughest times (my divorce). God brought to attention all of the things I had to be grateful for even then. As I walked through my neighborhood I listed one thing after another that was going well for me. Being grateful changed my attitude and helped make me better instead of bitter. I can only be joyful when I am praying continually. I couldn't be more grateful today as I recall this past week in Cancun. I wish all of my friends and family could have joined us!

My cup is overflowing!
With Love,
Angie xoxo

Glad you had such a wonderful trip. It's been ages since I've been to Cancun. Can I ask where you stayed?

Hey, Jill and anyone else who cares!
We stayed at the Gran Melia in Cancun. We got it on one of those last minute deals. It was a great spot! Thanks! xoxo

Can I tell you how much I LOVE that picture? And how I'm picturing myself in your place??

That's exactly how I want to picture myself relaxed--too bad it wasn't with you and Linc this time! I went ahead and ordered the book. Maybe I can recreate that scene by my pool--you didn't happen to pack up that palapa did you?
I love your verse. It's impossible to be grateful and have bad emotions at the same time. And our hearts should overflow with all that we are and have, as it came from our Jesus. Love ya, Annette

Angie...I JUST read this verse a couple of hours ago before I read your blog. I was reading my Jesus Calling devotional book and it was the verse to read and I was thinking, I should have this as one of my memory verses. Weird! Is God trying to tell me something? :-)
