A hug goodbye

A good friend of mine shared something with me that changed me forever. Lisa and I were talking about the various ways people hug. She has studied this topic and even has names for them. I don't know where she learned about them, but after our conversation I have not hugged someone without thinking about it. I invite you to really think about it the next time someone hugs you! What do you notice?

I enjoyed watching the television coverage today of the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. I especially enjoyed watching them say goodbye to the former President and Mrs. Bush. It appeared to be a warm hug. I was watching closely!

God Bless and Hugs,
Angie

That would be so cool to study the science behind hugs. I think the Bush's really went out with class because they are such a classy couple. I will really miss them both.

Michelle looked beautiful. I bet she even looks good when she wakes up in the morning. hate her, just hate her...jk of course.

Anyone who knows me well, knows I love hugs. Hugs are just the best thing. You're right though, there are many different types of hugs and they all feel very different. I watched today very closely too.

Warmest hugs to you sweet friend!

That's very interesting. You'll have to share what she told you about hugs. I hug differently now that I have had the mastectomies/reconstruction. But I think it is a motherly hug, I still offer. I adore that song, too. We sang it tonight at Bible study and a girl in front of me just cried her eyes out. I wanted to go give her one of those motherly hugs. Love and hugs, Annette

Hey Sis,
You know me and my ((Hugz)) lol So let me give *U* one right now
((((((Big Hugz))))*smiles*. In Hawaii Hugz are given everyday everytime we greet someone. We call it the hawaiian handshake lol. I guess President Obama got good lessons on hugz and it's genuine meaning behind it being born and raised in Hawaii. we continue to pray for him. I know I will miss President Bush!!!

The Bush's seem to have departed with grace and dignity...I would bet money there was no damage to keyboards...

I pray the Lord shines over America and we serve Him!

Love, Annette
