To San Antonio for the Siesta Fiesta? I realize some of you are new to blogging and don't even know what a "Siesta" is. It's a term Beth Moore made up by accident. She meant to say, sista (sister in Christ) and made a mistake and the rest is history! Anyway, a lot of the women who have a blog will be meeting each other for the first time face to face this weekend at the Living Proof Conference in San Antonio. It's going to be SO much fun putting faces (AND VOICES) to some of the most beautiful women I know. It's amazing how I know so many of your hearts, but don't know what your voices sound like. If you won't be there this weekend, know that we wish you could be and you will be on our hearts and minds while we are together.
So, who is going? Can you let me know so I'll be sure to look for you? I'll be the one who will be smiling from ear to ear!
I love my Sisters, Sistas, Siestas, or whatever else you want to call us...
We are Family!
I love you!
Angie xoxo

Hey Ang, you have been on my mind too..
And I will be there, can't wait to meet you in person
I remember dancing under the shiny disco ball to that song! I just dated myself to 1979 or so I think! I can't wait for this weekend. I'll be the-ere, sung to the Michael Jackson version not Mariah Carey! Love you, Annette
Oh Angie, I wish I were going! My heart and prayers will be with you all though! And I know it will be a wonderful time. Someday, girl, we will meet face to face!

Angie
Oh I am so sad that now I will not be going! I wish I would have stuck to my original plan but just returning from my trip it would be hard to justify the additional plane fare! Bummer!!!!
I do still have my ticket so if there is anyone out there who has a way to get to S.A. but needs a
ticket, please just let me know. I would love to give my ticket to someone.
I will truly miss meeting all you Siesta!
I will be praying for you all and thinking of you often.
Ann....text me during the weekend!!!
Angie,
I am looking forward to meeting you. I read your blog often. I do not have one yet, but am working on it.
It will be great to meet so many that I have come to know thru their words.

See you soon
Kim
Unfortunately, I won't be there. But if I was, I'd be in line for a hug :o)
I'm riding with a group from church, so I'll be there but we aren't arriving until the conference on Friday night and leaving afterward on Saturday. They had said they would let me stay for the meet-and-greet after the conference on Saturday, so I hope they haven't changed their mind!
Blessings

Hey Ang. I knew siesta was a term of Beth's but I thought it had something to do with Texas. I had no idea it was a mistake. How hilarious. That sounds just like Beth.
I will not be able to come. When I first heard of it several months ago, I considered it but it is just too busy at work. The first day of the college term is next Monday so this week is hectic for me.
Hey, I posted my second half of my notes and reflections on the BM conference if you want to pop over and read the two posts.
Luvya,
Paula
I think it is so funny that we are going to meet, and going all the way to Texas, when we live 35 minutes from each other!
I hope to meet you there Ang!
I can't wait! I can't wait! I can't wait! :)

I just know you will make many precious memories and meet wonderful siestas, and although I won't be there, I'll be thinking and praying for y'all.

So wish I could be there! Will you just have a little fun for me? Thanks! I just enjoyed 'groovin' to that song...I love it!
God Bless!
I haven't been to your blog in so long and I was just on the 10th floor getting into the elevator when I recognized you AFTER the doors closed. The entire walk from the hotel to the aladome, I racked my brain trying to remember you name with that familiar face. Then, I remembered, "By faith, Ang" and smiled. I hoped to see you to actually "meet" you finally. I thought you'd be at the pj party. I am so sorry I didn't get to meet you there. Hope you were blessed by it. I don't know when you changed the look of your blog, but it looks great!
