now I know

I just finished my last session of Beth Moore's Daniel study this evening. I was facilitating a group of women but unfortunately had to miss the last session to attend a funeral. It was kind of sweet watching it by myself. I have to tell you Beth cleared up something that I had been wondering about for probably my whole life. I was afraid to ask anyone to answer this question and I'm sure I've read it along the way but had a hard time believing it until tonight! How appropriate that I'd "get it" on the 10th Anniversary of the day my sister went to be with Jesus. God is so good that I am deeply touched right now.

I'm sure you already know this. I'm a little embarrassed to tell you, but I have the desire to share it because there could be one more person out there who is in my shoes...

I didn't know without a shadow of doubt that we will recognize our loved ones who have gone before us when we are in Heaven. I just didn't know for sure! Beth kind of said it in passing but it took me by surprise. It is such a gift to me as I think of a lot of people but especially my sister and my dad. I don't have words to tell you what this means to me!

Thanks for listening!
Love,
Angie xoxo

There are no coincidences that you would discover this today, a gift for your comfort. I didn't know that either. I wonder what Scripture it is based on. I remember that the disciples recognized Moses and Elijah with Jesus at the Transfiguration, so I guess that would prove it too, but it is such a comforting thought to me to know this also. SO glad you shared your heart tonight. Special prayers for you tonight. Love, Annette

Hi Angie,
Thank you for sharing this discovery. What a great comfort! I don't know when in my journey I might have needed to know this, but now I do. God is so good to answer our prayers and our concerns, sometimes even before we know them!

I am sorry for your loss but what a relief that your sister is with Jesus and waiting to be reunited with her family in eternity! The picture of your family is so sweet and everyone looks so happy and healthy! Time just goes by way too fast......

Have a good day friend and thanks again for sharing your heart!!

Love,
Kelley

Girl, when the Lord reveals a truth to you, you need to shout it from the rooftops because you never know who needs to hear. Satan's the one who wants you to believe that "everybody else already knows this." It's his way of undermining you and stealing the Word from others. Believe me, I walk "unenlightened" so much of the time and you all show me God. (Plus I think it helps me to hunger for His Word even more!) Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now and wish you a blessed day!

love,
karen

Ang, I to have done the Daniel study and it is awesome to say the least. I truly enjoyed every minute. And please feel free to borrow anything from my So Deceived blog. The more people that can hear or read the truth the better.

I'm so glad you heard from the Lord. He knows just when we need a word from Him. It's so refreshing to receive His comfort. We all have questions about things that are embarrassing to ask, but God knows what is on our hearts. He knows all things. I really enjoyed the Daniel study and learned a lot.

Blessings in Christ--

What is the best job I've ever had?
