Sharing Christmas

I wish I would have chosen this photo for our Christmas card! It's the first year Meghan won't be home for Christmas. She is spending it with her Seattle family. We are lucky that she is 33 years old and hasn't missed a family Christmas with us. We will obviously miss having them in Michigan this year!

I love your beautiful family and it is growing. Shared Christmas time is one of the big adjustments for us moms of grown children. You have mixed emotions and certainly miss them while you realize it is the natural order of life.
Yesterday, I watched as one of my dear friends watched her husband dance with their daughter the beautiful bride! My favorite moment in every wedding--knowing the emotions and sweetness that fill that full circle moment. The bride's venue was an old gorgeous public library with amazing architecture. It really reminded me of Meghan's venue. I bet they get some great pictures. Anyway, I feel your heart as you work your way through these moments. What a year it has been. AND I promise not to say it too often but Austin is 2.5 hours from here! :) Hugs.

I tried to subscribe at the bottom of this page, but it's not letting me. Let's visit a little later about this. Have a great Sunday!

What is the best job I've ever had?
