Lesson on Empathy



A very wise 28 year-old shared this with me this morning via my inbox.  And I'm so glad she did.

Empathy: Fuels connection. Feeling WITH people. It's a vulnerable choice.

Sympathy: Drives disconnection.

I would love to be more empathetic in 2014.
