Sometimes I freak out when I need the right words to share with a certain someone who continues to ask me questions and I don't have answers. I know they can only be found in His Word, but how do I convince him to believe they are true? God took me to another friend's blog just now and it took my breath away. I memorized verse 11 when my son graduated from Michigan State last May. Today we need the verse that follows...
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ...Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." (Jeremiah 29:11-12)
I can't give him answers, but God can. I believe with all my heart that His Word is truth!

Oh girl, we serve a faithful God! And as much as we DON'T have all the answers, I have to remember that sometimes we don't have all the answers because a part of it is FAITH! Faith is believing when we can't fully see! I LOVE verse 12 and just hate it when people miss it. Is it not so good? Love it, lady! Have a great Thursday!

I am believing God for your son to find his way to God. You are so correct. We can't always give them the answers our children are seeking but God is faithful and He will make a way for your son to understand.
The love of a mother is difficult and yet to really help our children sometimes we must let them discover the answers on their own. As a mother I have the opportunity to really Trust God in faith that He is Able more than I ever thought or could imagine.
