Annette, Beth and me.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path." ~Psalm 119:105
This past weekend I had the opportunity to thank the woman who was obedient to God, and encouraged me to memorize 24 Scripture verses last year. Her Bible studies have taught me so much these past few years and I'm forever grateful! Her love of the Word and Jesus is contagious. When I was on the plane coming home from Houston this afternoon, I realized how much His Word changed me. He just used Beth Moore as a vessel to get me excited. My prayers have been to get His Word from my head to my heart. I think it worked. Now I want to press it deeper. If you have the chance, read Psalm 119. Trust me, it will change your life.
His Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. I want to follow Him.
Love,
angie xoxo

I am so glad that you go to go to the celebration! Keep hiding His Word girlfriend.
So exciting! I just knew you were there. I know that it must have been a personal treasure for you to go, but I'd love to hear about your weekend! Could we meet for coffee soon?
I'm so glad you got to go! I was so disappointed that I couldn't make it. Looks like it was wonderful!

Thanks for posting the pictures. You are an inspiration to so many, including me. Way to go. I am trying to memorize verses this year too, only this time I am doing it with a big group of women at my church that are studying the Bible chronologically. Just getting started, so I am excited about what I am going to be learning. Just keep on doing what you are doing. He is teaching you by leaps and bounds. Thanks again for the pictures...would have loved to have been there, just wasn't meant to be.
So sweet a time together, my dear friend. Amy Grant brings it all home with Psalm 119:
Such a joy to meet you in person, I am going to look for verses from Ps 119 to commit to memory...

I remember your smiling face from the gathering, but did not have the opportunity to meet you.
Oh how I want His Word engraved on my heart and in my mind. I will keep "pressing in".
