Facebook really gets me thinking. I love to see the pictures people choose to put for their profile picture. Some add pictures of themselves as kids, some of them doing something they love... some with people they admire, their spouses or their family. I swear some look like professional pictures that have been touched up to look perfect! Some people are doing the craziest things! The thing I like most is that we all get to choose how we want the world to see us... on the outside! Oh, and what's up with everyone having "stars" and "famous" people as their profile picture these days? Honestly, I don't think I look like any "stars" and I'm okay with it. There is just one person I wouldn't mind being confused with...
I wish it were called "Heartbook" instead of "Facebook". Just imagine what it would look like if we saw just the hearts of the people we love and call "friends". It's just a thought.
But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7)
Grateful to know who is famous and how I am supposed to get ready before I walk out the door...
Much love,
Angie xoxo

As we all seek Him, Follow after Him, and hunger just for Him, that will reflect it self on you.. Oh sweet sister- your hearts shines through the love of Jesus
Be faithful, face Him, so He could shine through you!

What a good thought this morning! You are so right! We see only what most people want us to see. I always feel uplifted when I read your words. You have much insight!
Have a great week...stay warm!
I see Him shining thru your smile and hear Him thru the words you write on here. It is interesting to see what kind of pictures people post on FB as thier profile picture. Sometimes the picture does tell us volumes and sometimes not. Thanks for a great post. You will need to pur your award winning chili recipe on your blog...Blessings on your week.
Yep there's a good reason it's called Facebook--it's all about what others see on the outside.
I love this picture of you and Lincoln, and I love your heart that you reveal not only through a blog but your insights, your selflessness, your love for Truth--the deep things that make you so much more than a beautiful face.
Love,
Annette
It's definitely a place "all about us" and only adding what we want other folks to see! We have to be super careful. As far as the celebrity pics, I think it's just a fun "dopple...." something week.
Love to you, Angie!
Great post Angie! Thank you for sharing your heart and not being afraid of what people think. You have a beautiful face to share, but I love your heart. No wonder you were born on Valentine's Day!!
