Lord, it is true that if I don't fill myself with You, I will try to fill myself with everything else but You. Nothing seems to work. I've tried other things lately and they just make me more empty... more desperate for You. Help me start my week knowing that you are all I need. Help me be a Blessing to those you put in my path. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I love that He gives us a God-size hole that only He can fill, and at the same time am frustrated by all the ways I seek that don't work. It's a Monday way to start a week, though--on the right foot and path. Love, Annette
