We had such a nice New Years. We went to our friends' house and met some new friends and connected with some older ones. I have never brought in a new year this way. There were a lot of people there and right after the ball dropped on the t.v., our friend, Keith stood up on a chair and read this passage of scripture. Our Pastor, Craig Mayes was there as well and lead us all in prayer. None of us know what God has planned for us this year, but we cannot go wrong with Him in control. No matter what we'll face (in our jobs, health, finances and relationships) we will be able to... "soar on wings like eagles." He brings me so much comfort, hope and peace for 2008.

What a great way to bring in a new year. I'm praying for us all in 2008! Your children are so lovely and I'm so glad you got to have them home for a few days.
I love those verses! It is so comforting to know God holds us in His hand.

What a great way to ring in 2008--praying for you for much blessing in the year ahead. I spent midnight giving two dogs some Benadryl then listening to the Labrador snore. Both were on the bed and one was about to get voted off the island, when Mike decided they both had to go. (They were afraid of the fireworks popping.)Probably had better new years celebrations, but none so sweet as with Jesus leading the way! love you, annie

Thanks again for everything, we all had a wonderful time while we were with you guys. Sure wish we could get together more often! Fun memories in 07...looking forward to all to come in 08! (Specially San Antonio)
