You probably don't remember, but my computer crashed this past summer. I was SO bummed because I lost most of my data (pictures, music and ADDRESS BOOK). My i-pod still works and it had some of my addresses in it (but definitely not all of them). We really do have an Awesome God because I was able to find them! My Christmas cards will be in the mail tomorrow and I am SO excited!
It made me think of this verse...
Romans 8:28 ... (I am still in awe that God helped me remember this familiar verse. It seems like yesterday when I didn't own a Bible, now this evening I am able to think of it off the top of my head. Thank you, Lord.)
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
And then I remembered this...
Matthew 19:26... Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
I'm going to sleep well tonight...I hope you do too!

Looks like you still had a productive day even after the cooking and cleaning from yesterday. Now I'm jealous. I don't have the kids home to take the picture and haven't bought the cards and stamps yet. I am eating my fair share of Christmas goodies though. Just had some gingerbread and chamomile tea. Mmm. I always find it amazing when just the right verse pops into my head...and I wasn't even trying to think of it! It's like God knows what I need even before I do...well OF COURSE He does, but it still amazes me! To think that the God in charge of the whole entire universe...in charge of keeping the world spinning and the stars in place, has time to put into my mind the words I need to remember!
