For Patricia
Good evening, sisters (and brothers) in Christ,
My sister, Patricia helped me get my husband's Animal Hospital on the number one spot when people do a google search. (It wasn't easy!) She helped me do it without me having to delete my blog. She and I were so excited when it worked! The next day she e-mailed me asking me to post this song to my blog as a little thank you to her. I've never heard of her before I just posted this. She is my sister's all-time favorite singer and she cried when she died. She asked us to watch it to the end.
The Great Mahalia Jackson - "The Lord's Prayer"
So, there you go Patricia... THANK YOU so much!
By the way... it is absolutely beautiful! It is a great addition to my blog!
I love you,
Annie
xoxo
p.s. I would have posted it for you even if you didn't help me!

These women are as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. They are my sisters in Christ and I thank God for the opportunity to...

The best job I’ve ever had? Well, my first job was at Kandahar Ski Club where I got to mop the floors while everyone else was having fun ...

Thanks so much for posting this for me. It brings me to tears EVERY time I see it... even though I am not a Christian.
Love,
Your sister,
Patricia
I just listened to her sing...
"Amazing Grace" and it is amazing!
I love you!
She really is AMAZING. She sings from deep inside her soul.
She burns with praise for the Mystery that is God.
I love you too.
I knew your sister could do it!!! And yes, the song is so amazing!
Oh if I could sing like that! One day in heaven, angels are going to sound very similar. Beautiful music. I remember an old Christmas album where she sang the Lord's Prayer--it is from the heart to the mighty Lord and Savior. Blessings to you this evening, annie
If i could sing like that! Cool how your sister was able to help you.
Glad your husband's search works now. Wishing him all the best in his business!
Angie,
Praise the Lord! I'm so glad you and Patricia found a resolution. This song is beautiful. I've never heard of her or heard her sing before. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings in Christ--
i'm obviously catching up on old posts. i have fond memories of my mom playing her albums on our stereo in the living room when i was a kid in the 60's. (stereo and albums still there at her house). i searched for one of her songs "take my hand precious Lord" is the one i found and you can listen to it on my "playlist" on my blog. (patricia too)
i just want to give a shout out to patricia. you are so good! and for heavens sake i never thought i would find another mahalia jackson fan?! could it be a michigan thing?!

Hi Janel,
Oh no... the love of Mahalia Jackson is not a Michigan thing at all. I was talking to Dumisani Kumala who is the South African diplomat and the head of the United Nations Security Councel. He said his favorite singer was also Mahalia Jackson!!!
I was also talking with the Hindu cultural diplomat from India when I was in New York and she too said she loved her.
She is loved by people around the world of all races and all religions.
We are just one of the many. I think our love for her is just part of the love for the world.
It has nothing to do with Michigan.
Peace and love.
Patricia
wow patricia she really is loved the world over. she certainly was one of a kind and so missed. i am intrigued by the people you talk to. i bet you have a very interesting job.
peace and love returned.

Hi Lanel,
I have been blessed with many dynamic and wonderful people in my life.
I also have an intersting job. I am a Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I specialize in creating individualized Chinese herbal formulas to treat infertility. I work with men and women around the world which is quite wonderful.
I am very aware of the global community.
Best,
Patricia
